Renewable raw material – ECO-Choice Natural Spring Water cartons are based on a renewable resource: wood. The clever combination of three materials, aluminum (4%) for aroma and light protection, polyethylene (21%) as the liquid barrier and carton (75%), the carrier material produces a lightweight and efficient package. In addition, the cartons are made from wood harvested from managed forests, meaning that for each tree harvested, two or more trees are planted.
Resource efficiency – ECO-Choice Natural Spring Water cartons are resource-efficient along their entire life-cycle. The cartons are manufactured in locations utilizing very efficient electrical girds where the electricity is generated by wind, not oil or coal. Because they are easy to stack, efficient to store and do not require cooling, they use less resources.
Recyclable material – ECO-Choice Natural Spring Water cartons are aseptic packaging and are recyclable in a majority of US markets. These containers should be disposed of with other traditionally recyclable materials
